Yandina Historic House, Information Centre & Art Gallery

Yandina Historic House was built in 1899 -1900, In 1996, Main Roads resumed the property to make way for the new Bruce Highway and the house was relocated to its present site 3 Pioneer Road, Yandina, Sunshine Coast, just off the Ginger Factory roundabout.

The Historic House has all of the well researched papers on the History of Yandina by the late Fred Fink, a foundation member of the Yandina Historical Society.

The Historic House has been turned into an Information Centre, Art Gallery, Craft Room and Tea house.

Art Gallery

The Sunshine Coast is home to many fantastic artists and the gallery likes to showcase works that fit within the theme of this historic building. Local, Cultural and Historic are the themes for the artworks and there is plenty here to choose from.

Local – Local scenes, people, buildings, trees, flowers, animals and birds or whatever is located on the Sunshine Coast can feature in the works.

Cultural – Things that happen to do with the local lifestyle can be represented here.

Historic – Buildings, events, locations or even people may feature as part of our heritage.

Craft Room

Yandina Craft Room has local craft workers, who make different craft items. There are lots of original items that you won’t find elsewhere.

One of our ladies makes beautiful handmade Cards for all occasions, and is able to make cards for specific orders. The variety is endless.
