What To Expect
Start your adventure at Beach Access No 11 in Claude Batten Drive at Noosa Heads. After equipping you with the right gear – a long-sleeved rash/sun shirt, and the perfect soft beginner surfboard – the sandy shores become your classroom.
Your session commences with a crucial safety talk, ensuring that while the waves thrill you, they don’t pose a threat. Once acquainted with the safety protocols, it’s time for some hands-on learning. Wade into waist-deep waters and familiarize yourself with the feel of the board beneath you and the push of the waves around you. After some initial wave-catching attempts, it’s back to the shore for a deep dive into the techniques of standing up on the board.
For the rest of the session, the ocean is your playground. Dive in, paddle out, and with the dedicated attention of your instructor, you’re sure to feel the exhilaration of standing tall on your board, riding the waves towards the shore.
