It is pretty good value for the budget price from around $45 a night including breakfast with a decent variety of food. The rooms were quite large compared to other hotels in Bali especially for the price and the balcony was quite small about 1m wide (if you get one). The swimming pool is quite small and was dirty at the time with only a few chairs (most pools seem to be small in budget hotels). If you are after the usual shopping, beach and fun in the sun then Swiss-Bel Hotel Rainforest is probably not for you. Its about a 2.6km from the beach (about a 35min walk, 10-15min taxi drive) They do offer a shuttle to Kuta beach 3 times a day. There are not too many shops around, a couple of souvenir shops and the Globe apparel store across the road, but its quite far from anything decent with out having to get a Taxi.
