Hotel Kuta is another Kuta Budget Hotel – This place is ideally situated in a back ally, within 300m walking distance to the beach. But they do offer a shuttle bus/golf buggy as their driveway is rather long which if your a solo female traveller, you probably don’t want to be walking down it in the dark on your own. Which is good because you don’t have a mini bar or fridge in your room. The rooms are small and compact, with a double bed and innovative shower / toilet pod type thing which kind of reminded me or a portaloo (see photos below). Which when you had a shower seemed to wet the toilet as well, meaning the floor was still wet hours after a shower. As well as a small sink in the corner. The pool area is good altho has alot of shade, which can be good if you want to escape form the hot sun.

Free wifi, LCD TV, Cable TV and bottled water etc.They also donate profits to Turtle and Orangutan conservation. The room also has an extra bed / sofa bed for 3 people, this would make it extremely cheap but also very cosy with 3 people in the small room.

I did have a large group of very loud Japanese tourist arrive extremely late one evening, and because I was located near the elevator with was VERY loud.
